This project originally conceived in the mid-eighties, managed by Michel H. Porcher until the present time, developed with the help of many volunteers, has benefited from the sponsorship of a few individuals. We are very grateful to them and thankful for their understanding and foresight, some remarkable qualities unfortunately not shared by the many organisations we have approached for funding.
From 1995 to 1998 Professor Ian Plimer, who allowed us the use of part of his School's server.
From 1998 to 2000 Professor Glyn Rimmington, who shared with us a small computer laboratory and 3 very different but complementary computers. During that period for two brief moments Dr Peter Ades also kindly shared his favourite server "Zygote".
From 2000 to 2003 Professor Roger Cousens, kindly kept us going during some very tumultuous times at our University, Institute and respective departments.
From 2004 to 2008 Professor Edward William Ross (Snow) Barlow kept us going further with the much appreciated donation of a desperately needed brand new computer.
From 2010 onward, following
2 depressing years, Professor Frank Dunshea
rejuvenated us by finally providing us with all the needed equipment
and support.
We hereby pay tribute to those scientists who authorised the online
publication of our considerable
efforts.
