Scheelea phalerata (Mart. ex Spreng.) Burret -> Attalea
phalerata Mart. ex

Some authors place Scheelea excelsa H. Karst. as a synonym one species, others think of it as a synonym of another species.
A similar situation was found with Scheelea martiana Burret . These need further sorting in order to reveal where the error lies.
It is possible that the pair Scheelea macrocarpa / Attalea macrocarpa are only synonyms of Attalea eichleri (Drude) Andr. Hend.
