FAO provides a World List of Seed Sources and Plant Genetic Resources via a searching tool. An example can be generated by typing the words "chicory" and "Italy" in the two relevant windows of the form provided. The only drawback is that very few of the seed companies or organisations mentioned have a www presence or if they do they are simply not linked.
