* Heleocharis acicularis : This
is an old alternative spelling for Eleocharis acicularis. In older
books one will find occasionally other species of this genus spelt with the H.
It is inspired from the original Greek "helodes" meaning "growing in marsh" but
for some reason modern taxonomists favour Eleocharis and therefore the
version with H is probably taxonomically invalid.
