1. We have not been able to confirm the differences between the various species and the true Japanese wasabi. The types and cultivars need confirming.
2. We are not confident that the Korean names are properly worked out. Further work is needed on this genus.
3. thibeticum appears to be the accepted spelling for this epithet and this species. It is for example spelt tibeticum in Nasturtium tibeticum.
